MJ3, the Michael Jackson impersonator as seen live at the House of Blues in Chicago, presents a live King of Pop tribute with the option of the full '3 Legends' production, including tribute performances to Jackie Wilson and James Brown. The show moves between Downtown Chicago's award galas and the North Shore's private estates, with a gold reach into the Gold Coast. Where lineage is home
Rooted in Musical Legacy

This is the history of MJ3.

Emerging from a foundation converging in layers: First talent show victory on the Theodore Roosevelt High School stage, born in Gary, Indiana, the youngest of nine. MJ3 — organic realism.

MJ3 childhood archival portrait from Gary, Indiana

Chicago holds the origin of the first skyscraper and the blueprints of Frank Lloyd Wright. MJ3 holds a blueprint in tributes spanning Jackie Wilson, James Brown and Michael Jackson.

Five characteristics anchor the MJ3 production: the ease of Fred Astaire, the fire of the Nicholas Brothers, the stride of James Brown, the flair of Jackie Wilson, and the blueprint Michael Jackson synthesized from them all.

Realizations

“We wanted to initially hire him for only one song, but since his packages included more that’s what we booked and sure enough, after the first song, the everybody was chanting MICHAEL! MICHAEL! A huge success, and we'll absolutely book him again.”

Barbara B.

“The Jackie Wilson tribute was outstanding sliding, splitting, moving across the floor like lightning. My family and friends are still talking about it!”

Sabina Y.

“Jovan did an awesome job for us at the Waldorf Astoria and really capped off the whole celebration. Very professional, and he has truly mastered his craft.”

Amy R.

“Our family, all generations ended up watching “Michael” perform live in our basement at my retirement party, and loving every minute of it.”
